As an organization you regularly stand up intersections. A move to a new office, the start of a new team, or the farewell of a colleague. These are key moments. Not an everyday occurrence, but those moments are decisive for how you live and work together as an organization. And yes, they require care and attention.
At Mossels from Brossels we are increasingly being asked to participate in such a change to think along or to guide. Because at such a moment, a lot is possible. People are open to change, but feelings, such as emotion, curiosity and uncertainty, also come into play. In short: this is the perfect moment to really connect.
Are you ready to tackle change sustainably?
Every change is a transition. A space between where the old is not yet completely gone and the new still has to take shape. This is the moment to stand still, to feel, to share and to give direction. No powerpoints or targets, but real people and stories.
We use our for this Change in Motion model. Five building blocks to make change human and powerful:
Change doesn't have to be hard. On the contrary: humor is one of the strongest binding agents.
For example, we built a real one for a customer in the pharmaceutical sector escape game tailored to their new office. Think: Cluedo meets team assignment. We got to work on the question: “Who broke the rules?”
Spoiler: it was a fictional incident in a meeting room called “Nafi Thiam” or “Lotte Kopecky” 😉.
Result? Lots of laughter, people got to know the new space and each other in a playful way, and the office policy got an immediate boost.
A new office? Great. But don't go en masse to Ikea (sorry Ingvar). Build together at your place.
We bring wood waste, tools and inspiration. You make furniture or a new arrangement for your garden or terrace. Creative, circular and connecting.
Because there's nothing as powerful as creating something together that lasts.
A vision is not a document. It is something you experiences. And what if you took that literally?
Together you work on the team foundations. But instead of writing, you create a work of art. Think: a large team mural in which your values, dreams and stories come to life visually. Painting together, laughing, talking, creating. Extra bonus? Your work of art will remain hanging for years as living proof of what you stand for.
Change doesn't have to be cold or distant. You can also approach it warmly, caringly and connectingly. Curious how? Then definitely read more about our workshop:
